Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 28, 2026
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING OR USING SERVICES FROM CHERRY HILL HOUSE CLEANING. THESE TERMS AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
By booking, purchasing, authorizing, or receiving services from Cherry Hill House Cleaning, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
Section 1 – INTRODUCTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Welcome to Cherry Hill House Cleaning.
Throughout these Terms, “Cherry Hill House Cleaning,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the business providing cleaning services. “Client,” “you,” and “your” refer to the person booking, purchasing, authorizing, or receiving our services.
These Terms govern residential cleaning and related cleaning services provided by Cherry Hill House Cleaning throughout our service areas in New Jersey.
By scheduling or receiving our services, you agree to these Terms together with the terms contained in your quote, booking confirmation, invoice, or other written service agreement.
Section 2 – QUOTES AND ESTIMATES
Clients may request a quote before booking services.
Quotes are based on information provided to Cherry Hill House Cleaning, including:
Property size
Number of bedrooms and bathrooms
Condition of the property
Type of cleaning requested
Cleaning frequency
Additional services requested
Estimated labor required
Other relevant information provided during booking
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, quotes are estimates based on the expected scope of work.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and requested services.
If our team arrives and determines that the condition, size, or required scope of work materially differs from what was represented during booking, Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to adjust the price, modify the scope of service, extend the estimated cleaning time, or decline the service.
When a material additional charge is required, we will make reasonable efforts to obtain your approval before performing the additional work.
Quotes expire thirty (30) days after issuance unless otherwise stated.
Section 3 – SCOPE OF SERVICES
Cherry Hill House Cleaning agrees to perform the cleaning services included in your selected service, quote, booking confirmation, invoice, or other written agreement.
Services not specifically included are not part of your cleaning unless separately requested and approved.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning may offer services including:
Standard Cleaning
Deep Cleaning
Recurring Cleaning
Move-In Cleaning
Move-Out Cleaning
Additional Cleaning Services
The exact inclusions for each cleaning depend on the service selected at the time of booking.
Requests for additional work made during an appointment are subject to available time, staffing, and additional charges.
Section 4 – PERFORMANCE OF SERVICES
Cherry Hill House Cleaning will perform its services using reasonable care and professional residential cleaning practices.
Services will be performed by cleaning professionals selected or approved by Cherry Hill House Cleaning.
When you hire Cherry Hill House Cleaning, you are purchasing services from Cherry Hill House Cleaning rather than directly hiring an individual cleaning professional assigned to your home.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning determines the number of cleaning professionals assigned to each appointment.
We reserve the right to change the cleaner or cleaning team assigned to your property.
If you request a particular cleaning professional, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, but we do not guarantee a particular cleaner’s availability.
A change in cleaning personnel does not entitle a client to a refund, discount, or cancellation without otherwise complying with these Terms.
Section 5 – ARRIVAL TIMES
Appointment and arrival times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Traffic, weather, previous appointments, staffing changes, emergencies, property conditions, and other circumstances sometimes affect arrival and completion times.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled service window and communicate significant delays.
Estimated cleaning durations are also estimates. A service is considered complete when the agreed cleaning scope has been performed, rather than after a guaranteed number of hours, unless the service was specifically purchased on an hourly basis.
Section 6 – ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY
You are responsible for providing our cleaning professionals with safe and timely access to the property.
Access arrangements may include:
Being present
Providing a key
Providing a door code
Providing a garage code
Providing a lockbox
Arranging concierge or building access
Another agreed method
You are responsible for ensuring all access information provided is accurate and functional.
If our team arrives and cannot access the property, Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to treat the appointment as a late cancellation and charge the applicable cancellation or lockout fee.
If an alarm system is present, you are responsible for providing accurate instructions or disabling the alarm before our arrival.
Section 7 – CLIENT PRESENCE
You do not need to remain home while we clean unless otherwise agreed.
If you are present, you agree to provide our team with reasonable space to perform the services safely and efficiently.
If you are not present when the cleaning is completed, the service will be considered completed when our cleaning professionals finish the scheduled scope of work and leave the property.
Your right to report an issue under our Satisfaction Guarantee remains subject to the reporting period described in these Terms.
Section 8 – PRICING
Cherry Hill House Cleaning may offer flat-rate, hourly, recurring, or custom pricing.
Flat-rate pricing is based on the expected scope and condition of the property.
Hourly services are based on the amount of cleaning time provided according to the rate communicated during booking.
Recurring pricing is based partly on cleaning frequency and the expected maintenance level of the property.
Pricing may also depend on factors including property size, number of rooms, number of bathrooms, pets, condition, requested add-ons, and other factors affecting the amount of work required.
Section 9 – CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY AND ADDITIONAL WORK
Our pricing assumes the condition of the property reasonably matches the information provided during booking.
Examples of conditions that may require additional time or pricing include:
Excessive buildup
Heavy grease
Excessive pet hair
Excessive clutter
Unusually heavy dust
Large amounts of trash
Conditions requiring significantly more labor than expected
Additional rooms or areas not disclosed during booking
If the property requires materially more work than reasonably anticipated, Cherry Hill House Cleaning may offer additional service for an additional charge.
If you decline additional work or charges, we reserve the right to clean only what is reasonably achievable within the original scope or decline the appointment when the original service is no longer appropriate for the property’s condition.
Section 10 – RECURRING CLEANING SERVICES
Recurring cleaning services may be offered weekly, biweekly, monthly, or at another agreed frequency.
Recurring pricing is based on the agreed frequency.
If appointments are repeatedly skipped, paused, cancelled, or rescheduled, Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to adjust pricing based on the actual cleaning frequency or condition of the property.
Recurring services continue according to the agreed schedule until cancelled by the client or Cherry Hill House Cleaning.
We reserve the right to adjust recurring service pricing. When reasonably practicable, notice of a pricing change will be provided before the next affected appointment.
Section 11 – PAYMENT
All prices are stated in U.S. dollars.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning accepts the payment methods communicated during booking or invoicing.
By providing payment information, you represent that:
The information is accurate
You are authorized to use the payment method
You authorize payment for services and other properly incurred charges under these Terms
You agree to promptly update your payment information when necessary.
Payment is due according to the terms provided during booking or on your invoice.
Clients remain responsible for all legitimate unpaid balances.
Section 12 – PAYMENT METHOD ON FILE
When a payment method is placed on file, you authorize Cherry Hill House Cleaning and its payment processor to charge amounts properly owed under your booking.
Such amounts may include:
Scheduled cleaning services
Approved additional services
Applicable taxes
Agreed cancellation fees
Lockout fees
Other charges expressly authorized under these Terms or during booking
For recurring cleaning services, you authorize the applicable payment method to be charged for scheduled services according to the billing arrangement established during booking.
Cancellation of a payment card does not automatically cancel recurring cleaning services.
Recurring services must be cancelled according to these Terms.
Section 13 – DEPOSITS
Certain services may require a deposit.
Deposits may be required for deep cleanings, move-in or move-out cleanings, larger properties, first-time appointments, special projects, or other services determined by Cherry Hill House Cleaning.
If a deposit is required, the appointment is not considered reserved until the deposit has been received.
The deposit will be applied toward the total service price unless otherwise disclosed.
Applicable cancellation terms will be disclosed during booking or governed by the cancellation provisions contained in these Terms.
Section 14 – CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Clients must provide at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without a late cancellation charge, unless a different policy was disclosed at booking.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee.
If our team arrives at the scheduled property and cannot gain access, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.
Recurring clients who repeatedly cancel, skip, or reschedule appointments may lose recurring-service pricing or have their recurring service discontinued.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments because of severe weather, illness, staffing emergencies, vehicle problems, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances affecting our ability to safely perform the service.
Section 15 – SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
Cherry Hill House Cleaning stands behind the quality of its cleaning services.
If an area included within your booked cleaning service was missed or was not cleaned to the agreed standard, you must notify Cherry Hill House Cleaning within forty-eight (48) hours after completion of the service.
You should provide enough information for us to understand the concern. We may request photographs or other reasonable documentation.
When the reported concern falls within the original scope of service, Cherry Hill House Cleaning will have a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, when appropriate, return to re-clean the affected area.
The Satisfaction Guarantee is intended to correct cleaning-related concerns. It does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.
Concerns reported after the forty-eight (48) hour period may not qualify for the Satisfaction Guarantee because the condition of the property may have changed after our service.
Section 16 – REFUNDS
Because cleaning services involve labor and resources already provided, completed services are generally non-refundable.
If you are dissatisfied with an included cleaning service, you agree to promptly notify Cherry Hill House Cleaning and provide us with a reasonable opportunity to address the issue under our Satisfaction Guarantee.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates any right or remedy provided under applicable law.
Section 17 – PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS
If you believe an invoice or charge is incorrect, please contact Cherry Hill House Cleaning promptly so we have an opportunity to investigate the matter.
We encourage clients to contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.
Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel or eliminate an amount legitimately owed to Cherry Hill House Cleaning.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to contest a chargeback and provide relevant records to the applicable bank, credit card issuer, payment processor, or financial institution.
Such records may include:
Booking confirmations
Invoices
Payment authorizations
Client communications
Service records
Arrival and completion records
Before-and-after photographs
Property access records
Other documentation reasonably related to the transaction
Knowingly initiating a fraudulent or improper payment dispute does not relieve a client of the obligation to pay amounts properly owed.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable New Jersey law regarding unpaid balances, fraudulent disputes, and legally recoverable collection costs.
Section 18 – REVIEWS AND PUBLIC FEEDBACK
Cherry Hill House Cleaning welcomes honest client feedback.
If you experience a problem with your service, we encourage you to contact us within forty-eight (48) hours so we have an opportunity to investigate and address the concern through our Satisfaction Guarantee.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to provide an honest review, opinion, complaint, or other lawful feedback regarding your experience.
Clients remain responsible for the truthfulness of factual statements they publish or communicate concerning Cherry Hill House Cleaning, its owners, employees, cleaning professionals, or services.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law regarding knowingly false factual statements, fraudulent claims, threats, harassment, impersonation, or other unlawful conduct.
Section 19 – HEALTH AND SAFETY
The health and safety of our cleaning professionals and clients is a priority.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or modify a service if our team reasonably determines that a condition presents a health or safety risk.
Our cleaning professionals are not required to clean or handle:

Bodily fluids
Needles or sharps
Human waste beyond ordinary household conditions
Hazardous chemicals
Biohazardous substances

Severe pest infestations
Animal infestations

Other conditions presenting an unreasonable health or safety risk
Our cleaning professionals are not required to perform tasks involving unsafe climbing or equipment beyond Cherry Hill House Cleaning’s approved height limits.
We reserve the right to stop service immediately if a previously undisclosed hazardous condition is found.
Section 20 – PEST INFESTATIONS
You must disclose known pest or insect infestations before your scheduled service.
This includes bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas, termites, or other significant infestations.
If our cleaning professionals encounter an undisclosed infestation, Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or immediately stop service.
When an appointment cannot proceed because of an undisclosed infestation, an applicable cancellation or service fee may apply.
This policy protects our staff and helps prevent contamination between client properties.
Section 21 – PETS
Clients must disclose pets when relevant to safe access or service.
You are responsible for securing pets that are aggressive, territorial, likely to escape, interfere with cleaning, or otherwise present a safety concern.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to request that an animal be secured before or during service.
Our cleaning professionals have the right to leave the property if an animal presents a safety risk.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning is not responsible for a pet escaping when the pet was not properly secured or when relevant handling instructions were not provided, except where responsibility exists under applicable law.

Section 24 – DAMAGE AND BREAKAGE
Cherry Hill House Cleaning will use reasonable care when working in your property.
If you believe an item was damaged by our team, notify Cherry Hill House Cleaning in writing within forty-eight (48) hours after completion of the service.
Please include:
A description of the damage
Photographs
Information identifying the item
Any other information reasonably requested to evaluate the claim
Cherry Hill House Cleaning must receive a reasonable opportunity to inspect the item and circumstances surrounding the claim.
Do not dispose of, replace, repair, or alter the affected item before we have a reasonable opportunity to evaluate the claim unless immediate action is necessary to prevent additional damage or address a safety concern.
When Cherry Hill House Cleaning is responsible for damage, we will work toward an appropriate resolution based on the circumstances and applicable law.
Section 25 – CLUTTER AND HOME PREPARATION
Unless organization services were specifically purchased, clients are responsible for providing reasonable access to surfaces and areas scheduled for cleaning.
Before our arrival, please remove excessive:
Clothing
Toys
Dishes
Paperwork
Trash
Personal belongings
Floor clutter
Our cleaning professionals are not responsible for organizing personal property unless organization services were specifically included.
Excessive clutter may reduce the amount of cleaning completed or require additional time and charges.
Section 26 – UTILITIES
Clients must provide access to utilities reasonably necessary for cleaning, including running water and electricity.
The property should also have reasonable lighting and temperature conditions for our cleaning professionals to safely perform the service.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when required utilities are unavailable or working conditions are unsafe.
Section 27 – CLEANING PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT
Cherry Hill House Cleaning may provide the products, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform the booked service.
If you request that our team use a product or piece of equipment supplied by you, you accept responsibility for issues resulting from defects, incorrect instructions, improper labeling, manufacturer restrictions, or reactions associated with the supplied product or equipment, except where responsibility otherwise exists under applicable law.
Clients should inform Cherry Hill House Cleaning before service about allergies, sensitivities, product restrictions, or surfaces requiring specific cleaning products.
Section 28 – MOVING FURNITURE AND HEAVY ITEMS
Our cleaning professionals are not required to move heavy furniture, appliances, electronics, or other items presenting an unreasonable risk of injury or property damage.
If cleaning behind or underneath a heavy item is requested, the client should arrange for the item to be safely moved before our arrival unless Cherry Hill House Cleaning has specifically agreed to move the item.
Section 29 – PHOTOGRAPHS AND SERVICE DOCUMENTATION
Cherry Hill House Cleaning may photograph areas of a property when reasonably necessary to document:
Before-and-after conditions
Completed work
Pre-existing damage
Property conditions
Safety concerns
Service-quality concerns
Damage claims

We will make reasonable efforts to avoid documenting personally identifying or sensitive information when such information is unrelated to the purpose of the photograph.
Photographs used specifically for public marketing or promotional purposes will be handled according to applicable consent requirements and our internal policies.
Section 30 – NON-SOLICITATION OF CLEANING PROFESSIONALS
Cherry Hill House Cleaning invests substantial time and resources into recruiting, screening, training, scheduling, supporting, and managing its cleaning professionals.
Clients agree not to knowingly bypass Cherry Hill House Cleaning to directly hire a cleaning professional introduced to them through Cherry Hill House Cleaning for substantially similar cleaning services during the client relationship and for a reasonable period afterward, to the extent permitted under applicable law.
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves its rights and remedies under applicable law when a client intentionally interferes with its business relationships or improperly solicits its cleaning professionals.

Cherry Hill House Cleaning is not responsible for delays or failure to perform resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, emergencies, utility outages, road conditions, government actions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

Section 38 – CHANGES TO SERVICES AND PRICING
Cherry Hill House Cleaning reserves the right to modify its services, service inclusions, policies, and pricing.
Changes affecting an already confirmed appointment will be communicated when appropriate.
Recurring clients will receive reasonable notice of material pricing changes before the changed price applies to a future appointment.
Section 39 – NEW JERSEY LAW
These Terms and services provided by Cherry Hill House Cleaning are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under New Jersey or federal law remain unaffected by these Terms.
Section 40 – DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If a dispute arises between a client and Cherry Hill House Cleaning, both parties are encouraged to first attempt to resolve the dispute directly and in good faith.
The client should contact Cherry Hill House Cleaning with a description of the dispute and provide a reasonable opportunity for the business to investigate and respond.
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from exercising rights or remedies available under applicable New Jersey or federal law.
Section 41 – SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or removed as necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Section 42 – WAIVER
Failure by Cherry Hill House Cleaning to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce the same or another provision later.
Section 43 – ASSIGNMENT
Clients may not transfer or assign their rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from Cherry Hill House Cleaning.
Section 44 – RELATIONSHIP OF THE PARTIES
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, franchise, or agency relationship between the client and Cherry Hill House Cleaning.
The client is purchasing cleaning services from Cherry Hill House Cleaning.
Section 45 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the applicable quote, booking confirmation, invoice, service description, and any other written agreement accepted by the parties, constitute the agreement governing the applicable cleaning services.
If a specific written agreement expressly conflicts with these general Terms, the specific written agreement will control with respect to the conflicting provision.
Section 46 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
