Our Story
For me, cleaning has always meant more than keeping a house tidy. It was part of how I grew up.
When my family came to America from Brazil, house cleaning became my parents’ main line of work. But cleaning itself was never new to us. In Brazilian culture, a deep-cleaned home was simply part of life.
Every Saturday morning, I would wake up to my mom blasting music, pulling open the curtains and windows, and starting our weekly cleaning routine. By seven years old, my dad had officially put me in charge of the bathrooms. He taught me how to clean every corner, pay attention to the small details, and even fold the toilet paper into a little flower when I finished.
To this day, the cleanest room in my own home is always the bathroom.
Those Saturday mornings taught me something I still believe today. Your environment affects you.
